In April
2004, the BC Tap Water
Alliance attended three conferences, the first two of which we provided
critical summaries of. The unaccounted for third, was the BC
Water and Waste Association's annual conference held in Whistler at the
end of April.
More recently, on June 2, 2005, following the luncheon break, we
distributed information to delegates at the international conference on
Landslide Risk Assessment (May 31-June 4), including concerns from the
Perry Ridge Water Users Association, about a tour of the Sea-to-Sky
highway north of Horseshoe Bay to Britannia Beach. A number of
the delegates were respresentatives from several BC provincial
government ministries.
