These 12 pdf-file maps, obtained and painstakingly patched together from 225 separate files obtained through the provincial government's Petroleum OnLine Viewer, provide information on active oil and gas tenure location grids by their assigned numbers.
If some of the tenure numbers are hard to read after zooming into the pdf map documents, make note of nearby or neigbour number and go to the web OnLine Viewer to obtain the correct, readable number. (When the Online Viewer screen opens, hit the third link down to the right of the screen called Find Petroleum Active Titles. Input the neighbour number in the screen called Attribute Value, and the map information will pop up in the screen and you can read the unreadable number you may find on any of the maps below. To zoom in on the OnLine Viewer map, hit the zoom buttom to the top left of the information bar, and wait for the informaiton to appear. There is a tutorial available for those who need it on the top viewer bar.)

A complete, master companion list to all of the thousands of active oil & gas company/corporation tenure numbers (which were collected and organized as of March 5, 2010) are available in pdf format here. Simply use the search engine in the pdf reader document for any number found on the maps below. The information, under each company/corporation, will tell you the type of tenure, its date, ownership, tenure area, etc.

For more lengthy, specific information on each tenure, go to the government's titles information website and input any number there. [Note: more tenures are being sold by the government, so some of the map tenure information may not be in the list above, and will require double-checking for updates.]
